It all started with a coffee.
A few years ago, I was having coffee with a friend who teaches maths. He wasn't talking about teaching - he was telling me what a nightmare getting paid had become. Chasing parents for unpaid fees. Wondering who had paid and who hadn't. Sometimes parents would give their teenagers the cash to bring to class, only to discover later that the money never reached him.
I remember thinking: why is a great teacher spending so much time worrying about payments instead of teaching?
So I built him something. One app, for one person, to make sure he got paid on time.
Then I started talking to more people. Tutors, therapists, personal trainers, coaches. Every conversation sounded the same: different professions, the exact same frustrations. They were exhausted not by the work they loved, but by everything around it - late payments, endless admin, scattered communication.
That small app eventually evolved into Zuki. Today, we're building software that gives service professionals clarity, control and peace of mind, while making life simpler for the clients and families they support.
